Malaysian National Intervarsity Debate Competition

 

 

 

25 October 2014

Held in Taylor's University, this competition gathered debating talents from varsities all over Malaysia. The competition was held for 4 days with multiple stages. Many student helpers were recruited to assist in the organization in this event and were divided into multiple groups such as ushers and food preparation.

 

This debating championship provides varsity students all over Malaysia a platform to showcase their talents in the field of debate.

 

I helped in this championship as a student helper and was in charge of collecting forms written by both participants and judges. My shift was on the 25th of October 2014

Being the role as a student helper, I communicated and collaborated well with other student helpers in order to ensure that the whole championship was held smoothly. I am glad that through this event, I had the chance to experience live debate competitions, observe the protocols and also witness the maturity of debating skills of local students. Last but not least, I felt happy that I made contacts with new people by being a student helper in this event.
