In this varsity-level competition, participants from all schools present their ideas on ways to decreasing carbon-emission, urban heat island effect and other negative impacts on our environment through ways of waste management, innovative technology or any other methods.
Our team's idea is to revolutionize residential housing plans by redirecting waste from housing units to an urban farming zone. Agriculture with close proximity to the living areas produces organic food back to the residents. This decreases the demand of transportation of food from other places and fully utilize waste as fertilizer, thus making residential houses more self-sustainable.

environmental sustainable design
project: short environmental film
Environmental issues have become a great concern for mankind as these issues are affecting planet Earth and us badly. This project encourages students to use their talents to raise awareness of contemporary environmental and social issues.
This project requires outside of classroom exploration and text book knowledge for us to do our part by producing a short film that reflects these concerns and to be part of the change for a better world . The short movie is expected to have impactful information, statistics and graphic/visuals.

The process of taking shots for the short movie. We went to FRIM and Bandar Kinrara to take shots of both natural and deforested scenes.
Next, we compiled the shots and I narrated the video.
