In this varsity-level competition, participants from all schools present their ideas on ways to decreasing carbon-emission, urban heat island effect and other negative impacts on our environment through ways of waste management, innovative technology or any other methods.
Our team's idea is to revolutionize residential housing plans by redirecting waste from housing units to an urban farming zone. Agriculture with close proximity to the living areas produces organic food back to the residents. This decreases the demand of transportation of food from other places and fully utilize waste as fertilizer, thus making residential houses more self-sustainable.

building plans: fire-fighting plan
Working Drawings are an integral part of the construction industry and the architect’s chief mean of communication with the various levels of the authorities, clients and consultants. A comprehensive knowledge of the format and conventions of working drawings, as well as an overall awareness of its importance in practice is crucial for us students.
As a group, we chose one of our teammate's projects and translated the selected building into a complete set of architectural working drawing for submission to the authorities, utilizing all the formats and conventions of working drawing as applied in contemporary architectural practice.
