eco campaign 2015 eco ideas proposal competition

In this varsity-level competition, participants from all schools present their ideas on ways to decreasing carbon-emission, urban heat island effect and other negative impacts on our environment through ways of waste management, innovative technology or any other methods.
Our team's idea is to revolutionize residential housing plans by redirecting waste from housing units to an urban farming zone. Agriculture with close proximity to the living areas produces organic food back to the residents. This decreases the demand of transportation of food from other places and fully utilize waste as fertilizer, thus making residential houses more self-sustainable.

project 2: structural analysis of a bungalow
This project is an integrated component where it involves structural theory, force calculation and basic structural proposal. It allows the demonstration of knowledge and understanding of building structure physically and mathematically.
Through this project, I earned basic understanding of calculations done by structural and civil engineers in the field of construction planning. It exposes me to the basic process of building structure designing. This holistic experience comprises of concept and structure layout design, engineering considerations, members sizing and calculations. A complete documentation of the study is produced.
Once completed, I am able to identify structural components, recognize, execute and implement basic procedures of building structure design as well as produce a legitimate structural proposal.
